She died as a result of myocardial infarction.

Patty Shepard was born in Greenville, South Carolina, but moved to Spain at a young age. She began her career as a model and beauty queen, winning the Miss Spain title in 1960. She later transitioned into acting, appearing in over 70 Spanish and international films.

Some of her most notable roles include the horror film "The House That Screamed" (1969), directed by Narciso Ibáñez Serrador, and the spaghetti western "Bad Man's River" (1971), alongside Lee Van Cleef and Gina Lollobrigida.
