Carl Billquist

Carl Billquist (May 19, 1993 Malmö Municipality-May 24, 1993 Stockholm) otherwise known as Carl Folke Billquist or Carl Billqvist was a Swedish actor.

He was born in Malmö Municipality, Sweden on May 19, 1933. He trained at the Royal Dramatic Theatre School in Stockholm and went on to have a successful career in film and television. Some of his notable film credits include "The Seventh Seal" (1957), "Wild Strawberries" (1957), and "The Virgin Spring" (1960), all directed by Ingmar Bergman.

In addition to his film work, Billquist was also a prolific stage actor and appeared in numerous productions at the Royal Dramatic Theatre. He was known for his powerful performances and was highly regarded in the Swedish acting community.
