Concordia Selander

Concordia Selander (June 2, 1861 Arboga-March 31, 1935 Täby) otherwise known as Johanna Concordia Cornelia Hård or Concordia Cornelia Johanna Selander was a Swedish actor.

She was born in Arboga, Sweden on June 2, 1861. She initially pursued a career in teaching but eventually found her true passion in acting. Selander started her acting career touring with different theater companies in Sweden before eventually settling in Stockholm. She became a very popular stage actress and was known for her versatility and expressive acting style. Selander also appeared in films during the early years of Swedish cinema. She is perhaps best known for her role as "Morsan" in the 1919 film "Ingmarssönerna" directed by Victor Sjöström. In her later years, Selander also worked as a drama teacher and continued to perform on stage. She passed away on March 31, 1935 in Täby, Sweden at the age of 73.
