Jean-Marc Bory was known for his work in French cinema and theater during the 1950s and 1960s. He appeared in several notable films throughout his career, including "Le Trou" (1960), "Le Beau Serge" (1958), and "Les Cousins" (1959), all directed by Claude Chabrol. Bory also acted in several films by Jean-Luc Godard, including "Une Femme est une Femme" (1961) and "Vivre sa Vie" (1962). Besides acting, Bory was also a writer and director, writing the screenplay for Chabrol's "La Femme Infidele" (1969) and directing the film "L'Ange et le Femme" (1977). Despite his contributions to French cinema, Bory was relatively unknown outside of France.
