Eddie Le Baron

Eddie Le Baron (December 6, 1906 Caracas-August 21, 1983 Los Angeles) also known as Eddie Le Baron and His Orchestra, Eddie LeBaron or Eddie LaBaron was a Venezuelan actor.

However, Le Baron is perhaps best recognized for his professional football career. He was a quarterback in the National Football League (NFL) for eleven seasons, most notably for the Washington Redskins and the Dallas Cowboys. Despite his small stature (he was only 5'7"), Le Baron was known for his toughness on the field and was often called "The Little General". After retiring from football, he worked as a radio and television announcer for the Cowboys and later served as their general manager. In addition to his athletic and broadcasting career, Le Baron was also an accomplished businessman and co-owned several successful car dealerships in Southern California.

Le Baron was born in Caracas, Venezuela, but grew up in Northern California. He attended the University of the Pacific, where he played college football and basketball. After graduation, he was signed by the Washington Redskins in 1950 and went on to have a successful career in the NFL.
