Jim Boeke

Jim Boeke (September 11, 1938 Akron-September 26, 2014) also known as James F. Boeke, James Boeke or James Frederick Boeke was an American actor, teacher, bodyguard, coach and football player.

Boeke was born in Akron, Ohio, and attended Bowling Green State University where he played football for the Bowling Green Falcons. He went on to play professional football as well, spending time with the Buffalo Bills, Houston Oilers, and New York Titans (later known as the Jets) during the 1960s.

After his football career ended, Boeke became an actor and appeared in a variety of television and film roles, including "The Streets of San Francisco," "Kojak," and "The Godfather: Part II." He also worked as a bodyguard for celebrities such as Frank Sinatra and Liberace.

In addition to his acting and bodyguard work, Boeke was a beloved high school football coach in California, where he led several teams to league championships. He also worked as a teacher and mentor for young people throughout his life.

Boeke passed away in 2014 at the age of 76.
