He was best known for his work as an entertainment reporter for the Hollywood Reporter, where he covered the movie industry for more than 50 years. His contributions to the industry were recognized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1993. In addition to his work as a journalist, he also appeared in several film and television productions, including "The Colbys" and "Invasion of the Body Snatchers".
