Cindy Wilson (February 28, 1957 Athens-) also known as Wilson, Cindy, The B-52s or Cynthia Leigh Wilson is an American singer, songwriter, actor and voice actor.
She is best known as a founding member of the new wave band The B-52s, where she provided backing vocals and played percussion. Wilson also co-wrote some of the band's most popular songs, such as "Roam" and "Love Shack".
In addition to her musical success as part of The B-52s, Wilson has also released solo albums, including her 2017 release "Change". She has also lent her voice to various animated television shows and films, including "SpongeBob SquarePants" and "The Rugrats Movie".
Wilson continues to tour and perform with The B-52s, and has been inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame as a member of the band.
