Gia Allemand

Gia Allemand (December 20, 1983 Howard Beach-August 14, 2013 New Orleans) was an American actor.

She was also a model and reality television contestant, best known for appearing on ABC's 'The Bachelor' and 'Bachelor Pad'. Before entering the entertainment industry, Allemand earned a degree in psychology from the University of Hartford. She went on to model for Maxim and other popular magazines, as well as act in small roles on TV shows such as 'The Big Easy'. Sadly, Allemand died at age 29 due to suicide by hanging. After her death, her mother founded the Gia Allemand Foundation to raise awareness about suicide prevention and mental health.
