Don Gant (October 24, 1942 United States of America-March 15, 1987) otherwise known as Gant, Don was an American record producer, songwriter and singer.

He was originally from Memphis, Tennessee and began his career in the music industry as a songwriter for Hi Records. He later moved to Nashville where he co-founded the music publishing company, Algee Music. Through Algee Music, Gant worked with many country music artists such as Conway Twitty, Waylon Jennings, and Dolly Parton.

Gant was also a successful record producer, working with artists like the Osmond Brothers, Ronnie Milsap and T.G. Sheppard. He was recognized for his contributions to the music industry when he was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame posthumously in 1995.

Brian Cole

Brian Cole (September 8, 1942 Tacoma-August 2, 1972) was an American musician.

He was the bassist for the band "The Association" from 1965 until 1972. Cole was known for his smooth bass lines and his vocal harmonies with the group. He was also a songwriter, with his most notable contribution being the song "Requiem for the Masses" off of the album of the same name. Unfortunately, Cole's promising career was cut short when he tragically died in a car accident at the young age of 29. Despite his short time with The Association, he left a lasting impact on the music industry and is remembered as a talented musician and songwriter.
