Eric Carr (July 12, 1950 Brooklyn-November 24, 1991 New York City) also known as Carr, Eric or The Fox was an American musician, songwriter and drummer.

His most important albums: Rockology and Unfinished Business. Genres he performed include Hard rock, Heavy metal and Glam metal.

Carr is best known for being the drummer in the iconic rock band, Kiss, from 1980 until his death in 1991. He took on the persona of "The Fox" for his performances with the band. Carr replaced original Kiss drummer Peter Criss and is credited with helping to revitalize the band's image and sound during the 1980s.

Aside from his work with Kiss, Carr also contributed his drumming talents to albums by other artists such as Wendy O. Williams, Doro Pesch, and more. He was also an accomplished songwriter, co-writing several songs for Kiss including "All Hell's Breakin' Loose" and "Under the Gun".

Carr tragically passed away from complications related to heart cancer at the age of 41, leaving behind a legacy as one of the most talented and influential drummers in rock history.
