Terrones began his career in the entertainment industry in the 1910s and became a popular figure in the Argentine theater scene. He later transitioned to film and appeared in over 20 films during his career. He was known for his talent in both comedic and dramatic roles. His most notable film appearances include "El hermano José" (1941), "La doctora quiere tangos" (1949), and "Hay que matar a Víctor" (1958).

In addition to his work as an actor, Terrones was also a writer and director. He directed three films between 1948 and 1953, including "La Doctora quiere tangos," which he also wrote.

Terrones passed away on his 120th birthday, making him one of the oldest verified people in history at the time of his death.
