Irene Zazians (August 20, 1927 Babolsar-July 28, 2012 Tehran) also known as Irin, Iren or Irene Asemi was an Armenian actor.
She was one of the most prominent actresses in the Iranian cinema in the 1950s and 1960s. Zazians was born in Babolsar, Iran, to an Armenian family. She began her acting career in the 1950s and rose to fame with her roles in movies such as "Golnar", "Fereshteha", and "Gavaznha". She was also a talented singer and recorded several songs for her movies. Zazians was awarded the Best Actress prize at the 3rd Tehran International Film Festival for her performance in the film "The Peach Orchard". Later in her career, she appeared in television series and continued to act until her death in 2012. Her contributions to Iranian cinema and her talent as an actress made her a beloved figure in the industry.
