Edward Ashley-Cooper (August 12, 1906 Sydney-May 5, 2000 San Diego) also known as Edward Montague Hussey Cooper, Edward Ashley, Edward Montagu Ashley Cooper, Ashley Cooper, Edward Ashley Cooper or Edward A. Cooper was an Australian actor. He had one child, Francis Cooper.

Edward Ashley-Cooper began his acting career in British theatre, where he played leading roles in productions such as "The Rivals" and "Arms and the Man". He then transitioned to Hollywood and appeared in a number of films throughout the 1930s and 1940s. Some of his most notable roles include that of Mr. Rochester in the 1934 film adaptation of "Jane Eyre", as well as roles in "The Scarlet Pimpernel" (1934), "Dracula's Daughter" (1936), and "The Adventures of Robin Hood" (1938).

In addition to his film career, Ashley-Cooper also continued to work on stage and appeared in several Broadway productions including "The Shrike" and "The Prescott Proposals". Later in life, he retired from acting and wrote a memoir about his experiences in the film industry titled "Stars in My Eyes".
