Christie Allen

Christie Allen (September 12, 1954 England-August 12, 2008 Western Australia) was an Australian singer.

Her albums include Magic Rhythm. Genres related to her: Country, Disco and Pop music.

Christie Allen was born in England and raised in Australia. She began her music career as a backing vocalist and session singer before releasing her debut solo album, Magic Rhythm, in 1979. The album spawned two hit singles, "Goosebumps" and "He's My Number One," which both reached the top 10 in Australia.

In addition to her music career, Allen was also a television personality, hosting a variety show called "It's Christie Allen" in the early 1980s. She continued to release music throughout the 1980s, with varying success, before retiring from the spotlight to focus on her family.

Sadly, Allen passed away in 2008 at the age of 53 from pancreatic cancer. She is remembered for her catchy pop songs and her contribution to the Australian music scene.
