Eduardo Wilde (June 15, 1844 Tupiza-September 15, 1913 Brussels) was a Bolivian physician, politician and writer.

Wilde spent most of his early years in Argentina and later studied medicine at the National University of Buenos Aires. He served as a physician in the Paraguayan War and later worked as a doctor in different parts of South America.

Wilde was also involved in politics and served as a member of the Argentine National Congress. He was a vocal advocate for social reforms and supported the workers’ rights movement.

In addition to his medical and political work, Wilde was also a prolific writer who wrote on a range of topics, including journalism, novels, and poetry. He was known as one of the pioneers of modern Argentine literature and his works are still read widely today.

Despite spending much of his life in South America, Wilde spent his final years living in Belgium, where he died in 1913.
