Isak Samokovlija
Isak Samokovlija (September 3, 1889 Goražde-January 15, 1955 Sarajevo) was a Bosnian screenwriter and writer.
He is considered one of the most important Bosniak writers of the 20th century. Samokovlija was born to a Jewish family in Goražde, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He studied in Sarajevo and later in Vienna, where he obtained a law degree. After returning to Sarajevo, he worked as a lawyer and judge.
