Augusto Aníbal (November 27, 1887 Fortaleza-November 27, 1965 Rio de Janeiro) also known as Augusto Aníbal de Almeida was a Brazilian actor and singer.

He began his career in theater and later transitioned to film, becoming a key figure in the Brazilian cinema of the 1930s and 1940s. Some of his most notable roles were in films such as "O Descobrimento do Brasil" (1937) and "O Ébrio" (1946), both of which are considered classics of Brazilian cinema. In addition to his work in film, Aníbal was also a prolific recording artist, recording countless songs throughout his career. He was known for his strong baritone voice and charismatic stage presence, and became widely popular across Brazil during the 1940s and 1950s. Despite his success, Aníbal remained humble throughout his life, and was beloved by both his colleagues and audiences alike. He passed away on his 78th birthday in Rio de Janeiro.
