Mel Giedroyc (June 5, 1968 Epsom-) also known as Melanie Clare Sophie Giedroyc, Mel Giedoryc, Melanie Clare Sophie "Mel" Giedroyc, Mel and Sue, Mel & Sue or Melanie Giedroyc is a British writer, presenter, actor and comedian. She has two children, Florence Morris and Vita Morris.

Mel Giedroyc first gained recognition for co-hosting the comedy shows "Mel and Sue" and "Light Lunch" with Sue Perkins. She has also hosted various other television shows including "The Great British Bake Off" and "Mel Giedroyc: Unforgivable". Additionally, she has acted in television shows such as "Doctor Who" and "Hitmen".

Aside from her television work, Giedroyc wrote a book called "From Here to Maternity" about her experience with IVF treatment. She has also written for publications such as The Guardian and The Daily Telegraph.

In 2020, Giedroyc was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Winchester in recognition of her contributions to the entertainment industry.

Laura Trevelyan

Laura Trevelyan (August 21, 1968 London-) is a British journalist and actor.

She is best known for her work as a news correspondent for the BBC and as a presenter on the BBC World News channel. Trevelyan earned her Bachelor's degree in Classics from the University of Oxford before working as a theater actor in London's West End. She later turned her attention to journalism, working for various news outlets before joining the BBC in 2000. Throughout her career, she has covered major international events, including the September 11 attacks and the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. Trevelyan has received numerous awards for her work, including an Emmy for her coverage of Hurricane Sandy in 2012. In addition to her journalism work, she has also been involved in charitable organizations such as UNICEF, and serves as a board member for the British American Project.
