Edmundo Ros was a Trinidadian-born musician, bandleader, and singer who gained international fame for his Latin American music. In the 1930s, he moved to London to pursue his music career, where he formed the Edmundo Ros Orchestra. His music was a fusion of Latin American, Caribbean, and British influences, which became known as "rumba-rhythms."
