He was born in Sapporo, Japan and immigrated to Canada with his family when he was only five years old. Kanagawa's career in the entertainment industry spans over two decades, during which he has worked on numerous TV shows, movies, and theater productions.
As an actor, Kanagawa has appeared in a variety of popular TV shows such as "The X-Files," "Supernatural," "Smallville," and "iZombie." Raugi Yu
Raugi Yu (December 31, 1963 Montreal-) is a Canadian actor and film director.
Raugi Yu was born in Montreal, Canada to Chinese-immigrant parents. He grew up in Toronto, where he studied psychology and drama at York University. After college, he worked as a theatre actor before moving on to film and television.
Yu's acting career began in 1986 with a role on the popular Canadian television show "Street Legal." He has since appeared in numerous television shows including "Due South," "The X-Files," and "Supernatural." He has also acted in several films such as "The Accused" and "The Sentinel."
In addition to acting, Yu has also directed several short films. His short film "Carpet Diem" won awards at several film festivals, including the Montreal World Film Festival and the Palm Springs International ShortFest.
Yu is also an advocate for diversity in the film industry, and has spoken out about the lack of representation for Asian actors in Hollywood. He has said that he hopes to inspire more Asian actors to pursue careers in film and television.
