She was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and began her acting career in the 1970s. Miller has appeared in numerous films, television shows, and stage productions, including the popular television series "X-Files" where she played a recurring character named Mrs. McRoberts. Additionally, Miller has done voiceover work for various animated series including "My Little Pony", "Barbie", "Dragon Tales", "Beyblade", and "Sonic the Hedgehog". In 1982, she won a Canadian Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the film "Babycakes". Besides acting, Miller is also an accomplished singer and songwriter.

Heather Menzies (December 3, 1949 Toronto-) a.k.a. Heather Menzies-Urich or Heather Urich is a Canadian actor. Her children are called Emily Urich, Allison Grady Urich and Ryan Urich.
Menzies is best known for her role as Louisa von Trapp in the 1965 film "The Sound of Music". She began her career as a child actor, appearing in numerous television shows and films throughout the 1960s and 1970s. In addition to her work as an actor, Menzies was also a model, appearing in magazines such as Playboy and as a centerfold in 1973.
After retiring from acting in the 1990s, Menzies became a passionate advocate for cancer research and started the Robert Urich Foundation in honor of her late husband, actor Robert Urich, who died of cancer in 2002.
