Ann Rutherford (November 2, 1917 Vancouver-June 11, 2012 Beverly Hills) a.k.a. Therese Ann Rutherford was a Canadian actor. She had one child, Gloria May.
Ann Rutherford is best known for her role as Scarlett O'Hara's younger sister, Carreen, in the classic film Gone with the Wind (1939). She was a prolific actor in the 1930s and 1940s, appearing in movies such as Of Human Hearts (1938), Pride and Prejudice (1940), and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (1947).
Rutherford also appeared in several popular film series, including Andy Hardy, in which she played Polly Benedict, and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, in which she played Aunt Polly. She continued to work in television and film throughout the 1950s and 1960s, and made her final on-screen appearance in the 1990 film, The Last Best Year.

Some of her most notable roles include "The Roaring Twenties" (1939) and "Navy Blues" (1941). She also appeared on television, including a recurring role on "Perry Mason." In addition to her acting career, she was known for her philanthropic work, especially in the areas of mental health and animal welfare. O'Connor was a beloved figure in the Canadian entertainment community and was honored with a star on Canada's Walk of Fame in 1999.
