She began her acting career in the silent film era and appeared in over 70 films throughout her career. Garon was known for her roles in films such as "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" (1923) and "West Point" (1927). She also starred alongside Rudolph Valentino in "The Eagle" (1925). Garon stopped acting in the 1930s and later became a successful businesswoman. She owned a chain of beauty salons in California and was known for her philanthropy, particularly for her donations to the St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, California. Garon passed away in 1965 at the age of 64.
