Walter Huston (April 5, 1883 Toronto-April 7, 1950 Hollywood) also known as Walter Houghston, Walter Houston, Walter Thomas Huston or Walter Thomas Houghston was a Canadian actor, civil engineer and singer. His child is John Huston.

Walter Huston began his career in vaudeville as a singer and comedian. He made his Broadway debut in the musical comedy "The Shuberts Present" in 1910. He later established himself as a character actor in Hollywood, starring in films such as "Dodsworth," "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre," and "The Devil and Daniel Webster."

In addition to his successful acting career, Huston was also a talented singer and recorded several albums throughout his life. He was awarded an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1948 for his role in "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre."

Huston was married to his wife, actress Rhea Gore, for over 30 years until his death in 1950 at the age of 67.
