Noberto Kerner

Noberto Kerner (July 19, 1929 Valparaíso-February 22, 1999 New York City) also known as Norberto Kerner was a Chilean actor.

Kerner had a prolific acting career, appearing in over 40 films and television shows in Chile and internationally. He began his career in theater, studying at the National Drama School in Santiago. In the 1950s, Kerner moved to Mexico City where he acted in telenovelas and made his film debut in "El hombre perfecto" (1955).

Kerner then moved to Hollywood, where he acted in several films, including "The Underwater City" (1962) and "The Glory Guys" (1965). He also had a recurring role as a doctor in the television series "The Wild Wild West" (1965-1969).

In the 1970s, Kerner returned to Chile and continued his acting career there. He also worked as a theater director and drama teacher, and was a member of the National Council of the Arts and Culture. Kerner's last film appearance was in "Sub Terra" (1996), a Chilean film about the underground world of coal miners.

Aside from his acting work, Kerner was also an accomplished painter and held several art exhibitions in Chile and the United States. He died in 1999 in New York City at the age of 69.
