Julián Trujillo Largacha (January 28, 1828 Popayán-July 18, 1883 Bogotá) was a Colombian politician, soldier and lawyer.
Trujillo began his political career as a member of the Colombian Liberal Party, and was elected to numerous political offices throughout his career, including as a member of the House of Representatives, a Senator, and the Governor of Tolima Department. He was also a prominent soldier, serving in the Colombian Army during the civil wars of the mid-19th century.
Trujillo is perhaps best known for his role in the establishment of the University of Tolima in 1870, which he founded during his tenure as Governor of the Tolima Department. He was a strong advocate for education and worked tirelessly to improve access to education for all Colombians.
