Pacífica Fernández (August 23, 1828 San José-March 31, 1885 San José) was a Costa Rican personality.

She is best known for being the wife of Costa Rican president Tomás Guardia and first lady of Costa Rica from 1870 to 1882. However, Pacífica Fernández was more than just the wife of a president. She was a devoted mother of nine children, a philanthropist, and a supporter of women's rights. During her time as first lady, she worked hard to improve the lives of the poor and marginalized in Costa Rica. She also founded the country's first orphanage and helped establish a school for girls. Despite her many achievements, Pacífica Fernández has often been overlooked in Costa Rican history, but in recent years, there has been a renewed interest in her life and legacy.
