Jozo Laurencic

Jozo Laurencic (January 4, 1905 Split-October 20, 1961 Belgrade) was a Croatian actor. His children are called Toni Laurencic and Ivo Laurencic.

Jozo Laurencic began his acting career in the 1920s in Zagreb, Croatia. He eventually became a renowned actor in Yugoslavia (now Croatia, Serbia, and other nearby countries), appearing in numerous films such as "Sestre" (Sisters), "Zlatna Dolina" (The Golden Valley), and "Cudotvorni mac" (The Magic Sword).

Beyond acting, Jozo Laurencic was also a talented painter and singer. During World War II, he supported the Partisan resistance movement and used his art to promote socialist values.

Unfortunately, Jozo Laurencic's life was cut short when he died of a heart attack at the age of 56 in Belgrade. However, his legacy as a performer and artist lives on.
