Oswaldo Payá
Oswaldo Payá (February 29, 1952 Havana-July 22, 2012 Bayamo) also known as Oswaldo Paya, Oswaldo Paya Sardinas, Oswaldo Jose Payá Sardiñas or Osvaldo Payá was a Cuban engineer. He had three children, Reinaldo Isaías Payá, Oswaldo José Payá and Rosa María Payá.
Oswaldo Payá was known internationally as one of Cuba's most prominent political dissidents. He was the founder of the Christian Liberation Movement, a group calling for democracy and freedom of speech in Cuba. Payá was a vocal critic of the Cuban government and was known for his nonviolent activism. He was awarded the European Parliament's Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought in 2002. Payá's death in a car accident was surrounded by controversy, with some accusing the Cuban government of being involved in his death.
He died in traffic collision.

Jesús Díaz (October 7, 1941 Havana-May 3, 2002 Madrid) also known as Jesús Díaz Rodríguez was a Cuban personality.
He was primarily known for his work as a writer, and was recognized for his contributions to Cuban literature. Díaz's literary works often explored themes surrounding Cuban society and culture, and he was among the most important voices in the country's contemporary literature scene. In addition to his writing, Díaz was also known for his work in film, having worked as a screenwriter and director on several projects. Despite spending much of his life in Cuba, Díaz eventually moved to Spain in 1991, where he continued to work and publish until his death.

Teófilo Stevenson
Teófilo Stevenson (March 29, 1952 Puerto Padre-June 11, 2012 Havana) also known as Teofilo Stevenson, Teófilo Stevenson Lawrence, Pirolo or Teófilo Stevenson Laurence was a Cuban engineer.
Though Stevenson had a successful engineering career, he was most famous for his accomplishments in boxing. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest amateur boxers of all time, winning three Olympic gold medals in the heavyweight division (1972, 1976, 1980) and three world amateur championships. Stevenson also competed in numerous international competitions, often as the captain of the Cuban boxing team. Despite offers to turn professional and potentially become a world champion in the heavyweight division, Stevenson remained loyal to his home country of Cuba and never fought professionally. He was a national hero in Cuba, where he is remembered for his athleticism and patriotism.
He died caused by myocardial infarction.
