Iván Darvas

Iván Darvas (June 14, 1925 Tornaľa-June 3, 2007 Budapest) a.k.a. Ivan Darvas, Szilárd Darvas, Darvas Iván or Darvas Ivan was a Czechoslovakian actor and voice actor. He had two children, Tatjána Ráchel Darvas and Olivér Benjámin Darvas.

Darvas was born to a Jewish family in Tornaľa, Czechoslovakia. He spent most of his childhood in Hungary, where he started his career in the arts by studying at the Academy of Drama and Film in Budapest. Darvas first gained widespread recognition for his roles in Hungarian films, including "Kiskrajcár" and "Az ötödik pecsét". He also received critical acclaim for his performances on stage, particularly for his work with the National Theater of Hungary.

In the 1950s, Darvas moved to West Germany and began working in international film productions. He appeared in several German and Italian films, including "Die Halbzarte" and "Das Mädchen vom Moorhof". Darvas is perhaps best known for his role as Colonel Sandor Szepessy in the British war film "The Bridge on the River Kwai".

Attila Kaszás

Attila Kaszás began his career in the mid-1980s as a member of the Bárka Theater in Debrecen, Hungary. He later went on to work for several other well-known theaters in Hungary, including the Vígszínház and the Katona József Theatre in Budapest. Kaszás was known for his versatility as an actor, and he appeared in a wide range of roles across stage, film, and television. He also lent his voice to numerous animation projects, including the Hungarian dub of The Lion King. Kaszás' life was tragically cut short when he suffered a heart attack at the age of 47. He is remembered today as one of Hungary's most talented and beloved performers.
