Ivan Palec (April 11, 1933 Hradec Králové-December 16, 2010 Saint-Rémy-de-Provence) was a Czechoslovakian actor.

He was a prominent figure in Czechoslovakia's cultural scene in the 1960s, appearing in numerous acclaimed films such as "The Cremator" and "The Joke". After the Prague Spring in 1968, he emigrated to France and continued his acting career there, appearing in French films such as "Les Uns et les Autres" and "Les Cordier, juge et flic". Despite living abroad, he remained a vocal advocate for democracy in his home country and was awarded the Order of Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk by the Czech government in 2002.
