Karl Dane
Karl Dane (October 12, 1886 Copenhagen-April 14, 1934 Los Angeles) also known as Rasmus Karl Therkelsen Gottlieb, The Great Dane, Dane, Carl Dane or Rasmus Carl Therkelsen Gottlieb was a Danish comedian and actor. He had two children, Ingeborg Helene and Ejlert Carl.
Karl Dane began his career in show business as a musician, playing the violin in various orchestras. He later transitioned to acting and became known for his comedic talents. He appeared in numerous films during the silent era, including several alongside comedy legend, Harold Lloyd.
In 1926, Dane signed a contract with MGM and became a popular character actor in Hollywood. He appeared in several notable films, including "The Big Parade" and "The General". However, with the advent of talking pictures, Dane's heavy Danish accent proved to be a hinderance to his career.
Despite his initial success in Hollywood, Dane struggled with depression and financial difficulties. His marriage also began to deteriorate, and he and his wife eventually divorced. Tragically, in 1934, Karl Dane took his own life by gunshot at the age of 47.

Preben Kaas
Preben Kaas (March 30, 1930 Aalborg-March 27, 1981 Copenhagen) was a Danish actor, screenwriter, film director, comedian and film score composer. His children are called Nikolaj Lie Kaas, Jeppe Kaas, Lone Kaas, Kaas Hanne and Pernille Kaas.
Preben Kaas was known for his comedic talent and appeared in many popular Danish films and television shows. He also wrote and directed several films, including the 1974 comedy "Mig og Charly" (Me and Charly). In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Kaas was a noted composer and wrote scores for several films, including the 1967 film "Farlige kys" (Dangerous Kisses). Some of his most notable works include "Unge piger forsvinder i København" (Young Girls Disappear in Copenhagen), "København, Kalundborg og - ?" (Copenhagen, Kalundborg and - ?), and "To lys på et bord" (Two Lights on a Table).
