Flemming Jørgensen, also known as "Bamse", started his career in music in the late 1960s as the lead singer of the Danish band, The Poets. With Bamses Venner, Jørgensen recorded almost 30 albums and received multiple Danish Music Awards.
Apart from music, Jørgensen also pursued a career in acting with appearances in TV shows and films. He played the lead role in the Danish film "Midt om natten" (In the Middle of the Night) for which he also wrote and performed the soundtrack.
