Alejandro Woss y Gil (May 5, 1856 El Seibo Province-November 28, 1932 Santo Domingo) was a Dominican personality. He had one child, Celeste Woss y Gil.

Alejandro Woss y Gil was a lawyer, businessman, and politician in the Dominican Republic. He served as the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Worship from 1899 to 1902, and as the Secretary of State and Justice from 1912 to 1913. He was also the founder of the Dominican Red Cross and served as its first president. In addition to his political and humanitarian work, Woss y Gil was a successful businessman with interests in the sugar industry, banking, and insurance. He was also a noted art collector and patron of the arts, and his collection included works by famous artists such as Rafael Trujillo's father, José Trujillo Valdez. Woss y Gil was widely respected for his intelligence and integrity, and he played a key role in shaping the modern history of the Dominican Republic.
