Max Croiset

Max Croiset (August 13, 1912 Blaricum-April 7, 1993 The Hague) was a Dutch actor. His children are called Jules Croiset and Hans Croiset.

Max Croiset was born in Blaricum, a village in the province of North Holland, Netherlands. He graduated from the Amsterdam Theater School in 1936 and began his acting career with the Amsterdam Tooneelgezelschap (Theater Company) under the direction of Eduard Verkade.

Throughout his career, Croiset appeared in numerous films, television shows, and stage productions. He was known for his versatility and ability to play a wide range of characters. Some of his notable film roles include "Een Zwoele Nacht in Cairo" (1955) and "Fanfare" (1958).

Croiset was also a respected stage actor and performed in productions at the Dutch National Theatre, the Haagse Comedie, and the Nederlandse Comedie, among others. He was known for his performances in plays by Dutch playwrights such as Herman Heijermans and Gerard Reve.
