Pieter Goemans

Pieter Goemans (June 6, 1925 Amsterdam-July 8, 2000) was a Dutch actor.

In addition to being an actor, Pieter Goemans was also a songwriter and composer. He is best known for writing the lyrics and music for the popular Dutch song "Kom van dat dak af" which translates to "Come off that roof" in English. The song was a huge hit in the Netherlands in 1960 and is considered one of the first Dutch rock and roll songs. Goemans continued to write music and act throughout his career, and was recognized for his contributions to both fields. He passed away in 2000 at the age of 75.
