Hans Boskamp

Hans Boskamp (May 7, 1932 Rotterdam-March 21, 2011 Dordrecht) also known as Johan Hendricus Gerardus Hoelscher was a Dutch actor. He had three children, Hans Boskamp Jr., Mark Boskamp and Mick Boskamp.

Throughout his career, Boskamp appeared in a number of popular Dutch films, TV shows, and theater productions. He was most known for his comedic roles and was considered one of the great character actors of his time. Outside of acting, Boskamp was also an avid football enthusiast and played for the Rotterdam-based club, Excelsior. He later became a sports commentator and wrote for various Dutch newspapers, sharing his expert opinions on football games and players. Despite struggling with various health issues towards the end of his life, Boskamp continued to act and contribute to Dutch media until his passing in 2011.
