Mien Duymaer Van Twist (February 26, 1891 United States of America-May 14, 1967 Amsterdam) a.k.a. Mien Duymaer van Twist, Wilhelmina Duymaer-van Twist or Wilhelmina Harmance Martine (Mien) Duymaer van Twist was a Dutch actor. She had one child, Dominique Berretty Jr..
Mien Duymaer Van Twist began her acting career in the Netherlands during the early 20th century. She worked in several theater productions and gained popularity for her dynamic acting skills. Her breakthrough role was in the play "Vogue Mad" which premiered in 1921. Mien continued to work in films and theater productions throughout her career in both the Netherlands and the United States.
During World War II, Mien Duymaer Van Twist became involved in the resistance movement against the German occupation of the Netherlands. She helped to smuggle Jewish children out of the country and provided safe houses for those in danger. Her bravery resulted in her being awarded the Silver Cross of the Order of Orange-Nassau for her resistance work.

Darja Collin (November 19, 1902 Amsterdam-May 6, 1967 Florence) also known as Maria Louisa Frederika Collin was a Dutch actor, ballet dancer and teacher.
She began her career in ballet, studying under Russian dancer and choreographer Olga Preobrajenska. Collin eventually became a soloist with the Dutch National Ballet. In addition to her ballet career, she appeared in several Dutch films, including "De Jantjes" and "Malle gevallen." After retiring from performing, she became a ballet teacher and founded the Collin Ballet School in Florence, Italy in 1954. She remained in Florence for the rest of her life, and was honored by the Italian government for her contributions to the arts.
