Huurdeman was best known for his voice acting, lending his voice to numerous Dutch-language versions of foreign films and television shows. He provided the Dutch voice for characters such as Yogi Bear, Fred Flintstone, and Popeye. In addition to his acting and voice work, Huurdeman was also a writer, penning several plays and television scripts. She was also awarded the Order of the Netherlands Lion for her contributions to the arts. Hoomans passed away in 1991 at the age of 76.
