Hithouse (August 21, 1961 Rijswijk-September 5, 1991) also known as Peter Slaghuis was a Dutch musician.

His albums include Jack to the Sound of the Underground, Hithouse and Samplification.

As a DJ, Peter Slaghuis was known for his skills in creating remixes and mashups. He won the Dutch Mix Championships in 1983 and 1984. In addition to creating music under the name Hithouse, he also produced tracks for other artists. Some of his notable productions include "Pump Up the Jam" by Technotronic and "Ride on Time" by Black Box. He was tragically killed in a car accident at the age of 30. Despite his relatively short career, he was a major influence on the dance music scene in the 80s and early 90s.
