With a career spanning over four decades, Paulsen appeared in numerous films, television shows, and stage productions. He began his acting career in New York City, where he performed on Broadway before transitioning to television and film.
Paulsen was perhaps best known for his role as Karl Riker in the popular 80s TV series "MacGyver." He also appeared in a number of other TV shows throughout his career, including "The Waltons," "Little House on the Prairie," and "Star Trek: The Next Generation."
