Mohamed Fawzi
Mohamed Fawzi (August 15, 1918 Tanta-October 20, 1966 Cairo) also known as Mohamed Fawz, Mohammad Fawsi, محمد فوزي, محمد فوزى, Fawzi, Mohamed, Muhammad Fawzi, Mohammed Fawzi Habas Elhaw, Mohamed Fawzy or Muhammad Fawzi Adel Aal Al-Haw was an Egyptian actor, composer, singer and businessperson. He had one child, Amr Fawzy.
Mohamed Fawzi was born in Tanta, Egypt and studied music at the Cairo Conservatoire. He began his career as a composer, known for his patriotic and romantic songs, before transitioning to acting in the 1940s. Fawzi appeared in over 70 films and worked with some of Egypt's most famous actors and directors.
Aside from his work in the entertainment industry, Fawzi was also a successful businessman. He owned several companies, including a production company and a record label. In addition, Fawzi was a supporter of the 1952 Free Officers Movement, which led to the overthrow of the Egyptian monarchy.
