Olwiyya Gamil (December 15, 1910 Lebanon-August 16, 1994 Egypt) a.k.a. Alwiya Gamil was an Egyptian actor. She had three children, Gamal El-Din el-Meliguy, Morsi el-Meliguy and Isis el-Meliguy.
Olwiyya Gamil began her acting career in the 1930s and went on to work in over 200 films, becoming one of the most well-known and respected performers in Egyptian cinema. She was known for her versatility and ability to portray a wide range of characters, from comedic to dramatic roles. Gamil worked alongside some of the most famous actors and directors in the Arab world, and in addition to her work in film, she also appeared in television and theater productions. Despite experiencing personal and professional setbacks throughout her life, Gamil remained dedicated to her craft and continued to act until her death at the age of 83.
