Alice Prin (October 2, 1901 Châtillon-sur-Seine-April 29, 1953 Sanary-sur-Mer) also known as Kiki de Montparnasse, Kiki, Alice [Kiki] Prin, Queen of Montparnasse or Alice Ernestine Prin was a French singer, actor, art model, memoirist and painter.
She was the muse of many important artists during the Roaring Twenties, including Man Ray, Alexander Calder and Kisling. Kiki's unique look and charisma made her an iconic figure of the avant-garde art scene in Paris. She also performed in several avant-garde films and cabaret shows, showcasing her talents as a singer and dancer. In 1929, Kiki released her autobiographical book "Souvenirs de Kiki", which chronicled her bohemian lifestyle and experiences as a model and performer. After the end of World War II, Kiki's popularity waned, and she struggled with poverty and alcoholism. She moved to the South of France in the 1950s and died of a heart attack at the age of 51. Despite her difficult later years, Kiki's legacy lives on as a symbol of freedom, creativity and nonconformity.

Etta Moten Barnett (November 5, 1901 Weimar-January 2, 2004 Chicago) also known as Etta Moten was an American singer and actor. She had three children, Sue Brooks, Gladys Brooks and Etta Vee Brooks.
Etta Moten Barnett is best remembered for her performance in the 1943 movie "Flying Tigers," in which she sang the song "Remember Me." She was the first African-American to perform at the White House, singing for Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt in 1933. She was also the first African-American woman to perform in a leading role on Broadway in the 1934 production of "Zombie." Etta was involved in civil rights work throughout her life, serving on the board of the NAACP and participating in the March on Washington in 1963. She was awarded the National Medal of Arts in 1992 by President George H.W. Bush, and in 2003, she was inducted into the Black Filmmakers Hall of Fame.

He was also a renowned violinist and music educator. Adaskin was born in Riga, which was then part of the Russian Empire but is now the capital of Latvia. His family emigrated to Canada when he was a child, and he began studying the violin at a young age. Adaskin went on to have a successful career as a member of the Hart House String Quartet and as a soloist with various orchestras. Later in life, Adaskin became a music educator and was instrumental in the development of the music program at the University of British Columbia. He also hosted a popular radio program on classical music that ran for over 20 years. Adaskin was widely recognized for his contributions to the Canadian music community, and received numerous awards and honors throughout his career.

In Hollywood, Bois appeared in several films, including "Casablanca" and "To Be or Not to Be". He also had a successful career on Broadway, starring in productions of "Cabaret" and "The Full Monty".
After World War II, Bois returned to Germany and resumed his career in film and theater. He received numerous awards for his contributions to German cinema, including the Federal Cross of Merit in 1977. Bois continued to act until his death in Berlin at the age of 90 in 1991.

Gable was known for his rugged good looks and charismatic screen presence. He began his acting career on stage and in silent films, but it was his role as Rhett Butler in the 1939 epic "Gone with the Wind" that solidified his status as a Hollywood icon. Gable appeared in over 60 films throughout his career, including "It Happened One Night," "Mutiny on the Bounty," and "The Misfits." He was frequently paired on screen with leading ladies such as Greta Garbo, Marilyn Monroe, and Vivien Leigh. Gable was married five times, including to actress Carole Lombard until her death in a plane crash in 1942. He himself suffered a heart attack on November 6, 1960 and passed away ten days later at the age of 59.

Berta Drews (November 19, 1901 Tempelhof-April 10, 1987 Berlin) a.k.a. Drews, Berta, Berta Helene Drews or Bertha Drews was a German actor and singer. She had two children, Jan George and Götz George.
Born in Tempelhof, Germany in 1901, Berta Drews’ passion for acting and singing developed at a young age. She began her career as a stage actress in Berlin in the 1920s, and soon transitioned to film with her debut in the 1930 drama “Dreyfus”. Over the next few decades, she appeared in over 70 films, including “The Adventures of Baron Munchausen”, “The Devil Strikes at Night” and “My Daughter Patricia”.
In addition to her acting career, Drews was also an accomplished singer, performing in operettas and musical revues. Her talents extended to television in the 1960s and 1970s, where she appeared in popular German programs such as “Tatort” and “Der Kommissar”.
Drews’ legacy in the entertainment industry lives on through her children, Jan and Götz George, both of whom pursued successful acting careers in their own right. Berta Drews passed away in Berlin in 1987, leaving behind a rich artistic and cultural legacy.
