Suraiya began her acting career in 1946 with the film "Taj Mahal", and went on to become a leading actress in Indian cinema during the 1940s and 1950s. She appeared in over 40 films, and was known for her roles in films such as "Badi Bahen", "Mirza Ghalib" and "Anmol Ghadi".
Apart from acting, Suraiya was also a proficient singer and recorded several hit songs for Hindi films during her career. Some of her most popular songs include "Panchhi Ja", "Dekh Liya Maine Kismat Ka Tamasha" and "Tu Mera Chand".
Suraiya's career spanned two decades, and she was one of the most prominent actresses of her time. She received several awards for her contributions to Indian cinema, including the Padma Shri in 2003. Despite suffering from health issues, Suraiya continued to perform until the early 1980s. She passed away in 2004 at the age of 74.
Suraiya was born in Gujranwala, Pakistan and her family later moved to Mumbai. She belonged to a high-profile Muslim family and her grandmother was a famous singer of her era. Suraiya began her singing career at a young age and was discovered by the famous music composer, Naushad Ali. Her first song, "Mere Aankhain Soos", was recorded for the film "Sharda" in 1942.

Chikao Ōtsuka was born in Setagaya, Tokyo, Japan. He began his acting career in 1947 with the Shiki Theatre Company and later went on to act in many stage productions. He started his voice acting career in the 1950s and became one of the most well-known and respected voice actors in Japan.
He voiced many popular characters in anime and video games including Captain Hook in the Japanese dub of Disney's Peter Pan, Doctor Eggman in the Sonic the Hedgehog series, Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik in Sonic Adventure 2 and Knuckles' Chaotix, and Big Boss in the Metal Gear series. He also provided the voice of the narrator in the Japanese version of Dragon Ball Z.

He was born in Hakodate, Hokkaido, Japan and graduated from Hokkaido University. Naya was known for his deep, distinct voice and iconic roles in Japanese anime and television dramas. He voiced many popular characters such as Inspector Zenigata in Lupin III, Shiro Sanada in Space Battleship Yamato, and Captain Hook in Peter Pan no Boken. Naya also acted in films including Akira Kurosawa's Kagemusha and television dramas such as Abarenbo Shogun and Hissatsu Shiokinin. In addition to his acting career, Naya also worked as a theatre director and was a founding member of the theatrical company, Bungakuza.
Throughout his career, Naya received numerous accolades and awards for his contributions to Japanese entertainment. In 2006, he was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette by the Japanese government for his achievements in the arts.
