Bentot

Bentot (April 4, 2015 San Simon, Pampanga-April 4, 1986 Philippines) also known as Arturo Vergara Medina or Ben Cosca was a Filipino comedian and actor. He had one child, Bentot Jr..

Bentot started his career in entertainment as a circus clown before transitioning into films. He appeared in numerous movies and television shows in the Philippines throughout the 1950s and 1960s, often playing comedic roles that showcased his unique style of physical comedy. Bentot was particularly known for his ability to contort his body in a variety of ways and for his infectious laughter.

Aside from his acting career, Bentot was also a talented singer and songwriter. He wrote and sang several songs in movies, including the popular tune "Namamasko Po!" which has become a staple Christmas song in the Philippines.

Bentot's contributions to Philippine entertainment have been recognized posthumously.
