Rico Yan
Rico Yan (March 14, 1975 Pasig-March 29, 2002 Puerto Princesa) also known as Ricardo Carlos Castro Yan, Corics or Ricardo Carlos Castro-Yan was a Filipino actor, model and businessperson.
Yan rose to fame in the late 1990s as a member of Star Magic Batch 2, alongside popular actors such as Judy Ann Santos, Claudine Barretto, and Piolo Pascual. He starred in several romantic-comedy films such as "Hey Babe!" and "Labs Kita...Okey Ka Lang?" which were box office hits.
Aside from acting, Yan also engaged in business ventures such as co-owning a restaurant and establishing a company that provided production and merchandise services for concerts and events.
However, Yan's promising career was cut short when he passed away at the young age of 27 due to acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis while on a vacation in Palawan. Zaldy Zshornack (December 30, 1937 Manila-November 18, 2002 Muntinlupa) also known as José Rizaldy Zshornack, Zaldy Zshornach, Zaldy Zshornak or Zaldy Zschornack was a Filipino actor. He had two children, Cristine Zshornack and Geno Zshornack.
Zaldy Zshornack began his career in the entertainment industry as a child actor. He made his acting debut in 1952 with the movie "Mga Batang Iskwater" and went on to star in numerous films throughout the 1950s and 1960s. In the 1970s, he shifted his focus to directing and produced several films under his own production company, Z-Arts Productions.
Aside from his work in movies, Zaldy Zshornack also appeared in several television programs, including the long-running drama anthology "Maalaala Mo Kaya". He was known for his versatility as an actor, having played roles in a wide range of genres, from action films to romantic comedies.
Zaldy Zshornack passed away in 2002 due to complications from diabetes. He was posthumously awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the FAMAS Awards in recognition of his contributions to the Philippine film industry.
