Rose del Rosario began her career in the Philippine film industry in the 1930s and starred in over 100 films during her career. She was known for her versatility and ability to play both dramatic and comedic roles. In 1950, del Rosario moved to the United States and continued to act in a number of films and television shows, including an appearance in the popular TV series "Kojak" in 1975. She was a member of the Screen Actors Guild for over 40 years. Outside of her acting career, del Rosario was also involved in various community organizations and was a founding member of the Filipino-American National Historical Society. She passed away in 2005 at the age of 88.
