Elis Sella (September 25, 1930 Viipuri Province-December 8, 1992 Helsinki) a.k.a. Elis Elieser Salutskij or Eelis Sella was a Finnish actor. His children are called Ariel Sella and Ilana Sella.
Elis Sella started his acting career in theater, particularly in the Helsinki City Theatre. He then moved on to work in film and television, where he appeared in numerous Finnish productions. Some of his notable roles include the character of Niilo Tarvajärvi in the TV series "Kohtauksia eräästä avioliitosta" (Scenes from a Marriage) and the role of Eero in the film "Maa on syntinen laulu" (The Earth Is a Sinful Song).
Aside from acting, Sella was also a trained cantor and sang in the Helsinki Synagogue choir. He was known for his deep, rich voice and his love for music.
Sella passed away in 1992 at the age of 62, leaving behind a legacy as one of Finland's most respected actors.
